NEW YORK – A ‘miracle’ baby was born in New York after his mom and dad were killed in a car accident.

The 21 year old parents were on route to the hospital to deliver their first child when another driver slammed into them at an intersection.

The impact of the crash was so severe, both young parents died. Paramedics decided to bring the baby into the world at the site of the crash.

The new born sustained serious injuries and rushed to the nearest hospital.

New York police is still investigating how the accident occurred. Allegedly, one of the individuals in the vehicle slamming into the young couple’s car fled the scene.

Police say other individuals were injured as well but did not specify if those are pedestrians or bystanders or eyewitnesses.

The young couple, who remains anonymous for privacy reasons, was using a taxi service to drive them to the hospital.
