According to Chicago police, the three boys, ages 15 to 16, attacked a 12 year old girl walking in a Chicago street. The boys then dragged the girl into a nearby cellar where they raped her at gunpoint.

One of the teenagers filmed the gruesome act and posted it on Facebook afterwards.

One teen was identified in the video and police were able to arrest him. His two accomplices were arrested some time later as well.

The girl was taken to a hospital for a medical checkup. “She’s shook up but resting comfortably and will recover,” one police officer said.

The court has set the bail amount for Justin Applewhite, 16, Kenneth Brown, 15, and Scandale Fritz, 16, at $US900,000 each. The prosecutor announced the boys will be tried as adults.

The alleged sexual assaults took place at Fritz’s house on Dec. 15, 2012.

Russian woman arrested for keeping dead bodies of newborn twins in store freezer. Photo Credit: AFP

The 30 year old woman, who has been arrested, gave birth to the twins in 2008 at her home in Sverdlovsk, near the Ural Mountains in Russia.

An autopsy revealed that the twins were ‘frozen’ immediately after being born. The autopsy did not state if the twins were still born.

According to police, the woman wanted to ‘keep the bodies of her babies’ and first placed them in a ice chest. She later took the bodies with her to the store where she worked and hid them in a freezer.

Police said the woman, whose identity has not been released, intended to bury the twins but said she couldn’t get them out of the freezer after she was suddenly fired from her job.

The owner of the grocery store is also being interrogated. Authorities want to know how it is possible that for five years no one knew what was kept inside the store’s freezer.

An off duty police officer surfing the internet spotted the adoption ad online by mere chance. He notified his department. The woman was arrested but is currently free on bail.

The ad states that the mother desperately wants to get rid off her 3 year old because she ‘thinks’ she’s incapable of taking care of the child correctly.

“I can’t do this,” the 29 year old woman writes in the ad and ends the ad with ‘Thanks, desperate’.

According to Houston police several people had already responded to the ad and the mother reportedly already had made contact with one individual at the time of her arrest.

The mother, who is presently expecting, says she suffers from severe depression and would have never really given her child away.

She told police she hadn’t been taking medication for her depression and her pregnancy and everything just became too much for her.

The boy has placed in the care of his dad, who was stunned to learn about the adoption ad.

The man, who had no connection with the ‘La Rochefoucauld’ school, a private educational establishment located in the 7th district in Paris, forced his way into the school around 11:30 AM local time.

Two adults tried to stop the man but were not successful in their attempt, said school rector François Weil.

An eyewitness who saw the man committing suicide said he had a sawed off shotgun with him and placed it under his chin. Then he pulled the trigger. A portion of his head got blown off. He died instantly.

A six year old who also witnessed the suicide said that just before the man pulled the trigger, he threw paper clippings on the floor. Police have determined, the pieces of paper were cut out newspaper articles.

Police is hush hush about the content of those articles. They have not yet released the identity of the man and say they are still searching for a motive.

The children were systematically evacuated from the school. Those that witnessed the suicide will receive psychological counseling.

France’s Minister of Education, Vincent Peillon, interrupted a meeting in Brussels and immediately traveled to the school in Paris, when he was told about the horrific incident.

Details about the unusual deadly incident are still vague.

The senior, who lived in the town of Winsley, nearby Wiltshire, UK, reportedly let his dog run free in a meadow where cows were grazing. For yet unknown reason, the cows became spooked and set off running in the direction of the man.

The man was pushed to the ground by the stampede and cows trampled him. He suffered major injuries to his chest and died at the scene of the incident.

Another man, who had accompanied the senior and who police believe to be the man’s brother, sustained major injuries. He is currently resting in a hospital in critical condition.

Police are at a lost as to what caused the cows to stampede. They’ve begun an investigation but said they probably won’t know more until the man’s alleged brother is able to give them more details about this bizarre accident.

From 1949 to 1990, Western Pharma companies invoked the assistance of more than 50 hospitals in the German Democratic Republic, aka East Germany, to help them test medication on patients.

More than 50,000 unknown individuals were administered medication for testing purposes. The patients never knew about the test phase and never consented to receiving these medications.

Many patients died during the testing of these drugs, yet the pharmaceutical companies continued testing new medication on innocent people for 41 years.

Der Spiegel reports it has gained access to previously unknown documents that detail the horrific ‘crime against humanity’ by pharmaceutical companies.

The documents detailing the human testing was kept secretive by the GDR Department of Health, the Secret Service ‘STASI’ and the GDR Institute of Medicine.

GDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) or East-Germany was under Russian communist regime (Soviet Union) from 1949 to 1990, the exact time span pharmaceutical companies tested their medicine on East German patients.

Details of the murder are vague and police isn’t talking. The crime occurred in the small town of Valley Springs in Calaveras County, California.

Originally, the 12 year old led police to believe that an intruder had killed his sister. But circumstances and evidence proved the teen was lying.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the unidentified teenager told police that when he got home from school he found his sister dead and notice a man running away. He then called 911.

The teenager described the alleged killer as a tall man with grey hair. Police immediately organized an extensive search party involving over 100 people. They went door to door but had no luck finding anyone matching the teenager’s description.

Police then focused on the 12 year old teenager and began to collect evidence that point to the teenager killing his 8 year old sister Leila Fowler.

They returned to the Fowler home were they arrested the 12 year old on suspicion of murder.

Without giving further details, police said the entire town of just 3,500 people is shocked by the incident.

A vigil for Leila Fowler has been planned on Tuesday at 7PM. People are invited to attend.

The un-identified soldier was preparing himself for a jump from a C-130 Hercules plane when the chute’s ripcord gets entangled in the metal platform he stands on.

The tugging on the cord by strong cross-winds caused the reserve chute to open, sucking the soldier out of the plane with full force.

A spokesperson for the ‘Fifth Special Forces Group’, an elite division of the US Army has confirmed that the soldier came out of the incident unarmed.

The spokesperson has also authenticated the video that captured the hair-raising event – see below.

Elisangela Borborema (28) was busy in the kitchen while her husband was cleaning his fishing harpoon. He accidentally fired the weapon. The harpoon pierced his wife’s cheek, traveled through her mouth and got stuck over her top vertebrae.

Borborema was rushed to a hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Doctors who examined the X-Rays taken of the woman’s injuries say they are stunned she is still alive.

Borborema underwent emergency surgery and doctors are certain she’ll make a full recovery.

“We’ve never seen anything like this,” said head-surgeon Allan da Costa. “She was extremely lucky, we’re talking less than one centimeter or she wouldn’t have survived.”

da Costa said the woman can move her limbs again but has some difficulty with the right hand side of her body. “We’ll have to wait another week to have a clearer picture,” da Costa said.

“She may even be allowed to return home by then,” the surgeon said.

Police have determined that the harpoon shooting was indeed an unfortunate accident and charges are being filed against Borborema’s husband.

The teen first knocked her classmate unconscious before working her over with a pair of scissors and a knife.

ChinaDaily.com reports that court documents reveal that the two girls were good friends and neighbors but that Qin turned jealous when classmates preferred hanging out with Zhou.

Jealousy turned to vengeance when Zhou reportedly told her friends that she thought Qin was fat.

When Zhou invited Qin to spend an evening at her home, Qin lashed out at Zhou, beating her over the head with a wooden crutch. Afraid that Zhou would regain conscious, Qin began to assault Zhou further with a beer bottle, scissors and other objects she found laying around the house.

Zhou died at the scene from Qin’s brutal attack. Yet that did not stop Qin from continuing her hatred filled vengeance on Zhou and she proceeded to cut off Zhou’s head and her arms and placed them in plastic bags. Afterwards, Qin cleaned up all traces of blood.

Because Qin was not yet 14 years old when she committed the horrific crime, China’s court can not sentence her. She will be allowed to take her place in society after completing a 3 years long rehabilitation.

Qin’s parents have been ordered to pay an undisclosed sum of money to the Zhou’s parents.
